  2. I'vedealt with the death of both of my parents. My father died in a highway crash just before I turned 21. My mother died when I was 48, essentially worn to death being a caregiver for my disabled brother (who is now deceased) and from other situations though I was able to help out at home and was glad to do so. When the time comes that one of your parents is gone you'll find you have more strength than you realize now, strength you need when you need it. Too you may need to be strong for the parent who is still living. You'll be amazed how much you can handle and deal with that seems impossible now.
