  3. Same here. I used to live with a hoarder who saved bags from fast-food restaurants. The bags were standing open on the floor of his bedroom. I don't recall if there were napkins and wrappers in them and such in them. Tragic to have a mind so scrambled and to be so scared of letting go that people hold on to that stuff. This may sound odd but I wonder if seeing what they used is like a diary for some people and when they let go of something they let go of a part of their past. I keep a diary in a blank book and I love to throw things out!
