Plot twist, they were conservatives. Chauvinism: The 1936 code put restrictions on abortion and imposed fines and jail time for any that received or performed the service. Racism: Soviet media accused Chechens of being associated with "banditism". This resulted in ethnic cleansing operation in 1944. Homofobia: Khruschev’s reformers discussed Stalin’s law against male homosexuality, and chose to keep it.

KGB Files is a pretty interesting channel. Not surprisingly, they didn’t want a conservative in the White House.

mike mcmike Old news magazines and especially advertisements tell about economic life. There were no advertising lights in Moscow. On the other hand, countries with the most entrepreneurs are agrarian societies.

@fatherelijahcal9620 Axis' combined production will never exceed that of the United States alone. China and the USSR are just extras. In this scenario, India and South Africa from the BRICS countries will not participate, but others will. Although Brazil had supported the Triple Entente in WW1, people started to protest against neutrality in 1942, after U-507 alone sank five Brazilian vessels in two days. Also, Mexico became an active belligerent for the same reason. There is a lot of cannon fodder potential.

Btw. The Defeated (Shadowplay) is a good show. Explains why the financial punishment of civilians was ended and the men were released from prison. They kind of implemented socialism also in the West in 1945-47. In 1947, JCS 1067 was replaced by JCS 1779, which instead stated that "An orderly, prosperous Europe requires the economic contributions of a stable and productive Germany".

Most people do not abandon their children, which is why even political opinions are inherited. Not to mention other attributes such as lactose intolerance. In practice, TIK proves this by trying and failing to change people’s opinions.

@TheImperatorKnight I suspect the Nazi intelligentsia to which you referred went to Argentina, Bundeswehr, CDU etc. The Labour Party (UK) is a party of women and minorities, so it did not exist in its current form. Direction – Social Democracy of Slovakia is one of the old-school nationalist parties.

Depends on how winning is defined. You know, Finland covers a larger area than the British Isles. In 1990, after the reunification of Germany, Mauno Koivisto unilaterally renounced the terms of the Paris Peace Treaties.

@fatherelijahcal9620 Germany and Italy have been finally compelled, in view of this, and in loyalty to the Tri-Partite act, to carry on the struggle against the U.S.A. side by side with Japan. -AH

Well said. American politics is toxic because one party always dominates. In a multi-party system, parties cooperate more and corrupt individuals are easier to expose. We are scared only if the fascists wear certain symbols, otherwise we are completely credulous. There are also many negatives associated with individualism, such as poverty and crime. In my opinion, the danger of authoritarianism is essential. I am pretty sure that independent South Africa or even Kazakhstan would not have declared war on Finland.

One thing that doesn’t fit that theory are the former royals within the nazi party and foreign partners. Literally relatives of Queen Victoria. That doesn't sound very proletarian. Also, there were more Christian holidays in Germany. Day of Repentance and Prayer is still a public holiday in Saxony. Soviets celebrated Christmas and the end of Ramadan.

@richardcontinijr9661 Sure, Poland and Belarus were obliterated. Kuusamo was looted by the Red Army in September 1944. An SS colonel hid the 17th century church bell. It was excavated from the ground in 1959. Why, because it was a Swedish bell.

@richardcontinijr9661 His unit was SS-Gebirgs-Jäger Regiment 12 Michael Gaißmair. Who was he? Of course Michael Gaismair was a communist. He was discovered by none other than Friedrich Engels.

Yahya Khan initiated the genocide in Bangladesh with the launch of Operation Searchlight. He participated in the Mediterranean theatre of World War II on behalf of Great Britain's British Indian Army.

@philpatterson7085 Co-founder of the bank was a democrat. Fritz Thyssen Foundation still exists in Cologne. Yeah it's a conspiracy theory.

@philpatterson7085 So? Mauno Koivisto, Helmut Schmidt and Willi Stoph fought on the eastern front. I do not see a connection with the southern states during WW2. Dwight D. Eisenhower carpet bombing Europe is somehow helping the Nazies?
1
@philpatterson7085 There is no confusion. Finland became the first place in continental Europe to implement racially-equal suffrage for women in 1906. That doesn’t mean the alien invasion wasn’t repelled and deported. The United States did not declare war on Finland during WW2. After the Continuation War, and while still in prison, Väinö Tanner became the virtual leader of a faction of the SDP which had strong support from the USA. When the SDP became globalistic, the nationalists faction founded a different party called the Finns party.

@philpatterson7085 You are right. His son flew his first combat mission in May 1944, bombing Japanese-held Wake Island. At this stage, Finland had good relations with Japan, despite them being Asian.
