  2. 1st trip: I’ve been doing this for year’s. I change my own oil every 5k miles with high mileage Pennzoil full synthetic. My 2002 Lexus ES300 has 174,500 miles and doesn’t burn any oil in 5k miles. 2nd tripometer: I keep miles for fuel injector cleaner.
