As a former interrogator who’s job was to do just that, I can say that’s not what he’s doing at all. He’s just trying to have an open, honest discussion with people. Problems come up for guests like this because they’re not open or honest at all. You don’t have to be an interrogator to wipe the floor with someone who is this dishonest. Rogan is a very good interviewer, and these people are bullshit artists. They can’t hide their bullshit for 2 straight hours. That’s the benefit of long-form podcasting.

He knew. He knew it immediately, which is why he lied about how often he eats bullshit food. He lied about how often and then used his autistic daughter as the excuse for the “couple” of times a week. Then he pretended to be a runner. He was in full defensive mode as soon as Rogan asked him how often he eats junk food. He was taking cringeworthy amounts of damages to his position as a professional authority figure in front of millions of people and he knew it right away. But his position is so indefensible, all he could do was wait until Joe decided he had roughed him enough, but couldn’t continue without the episode becoming unfriendly.

He goes full defensive at that moment.

He gets that, but he doesn’t understand JRE audience isn’t going to let that fly.

@bonanimathambo8721 He used her as his excuse for eating bullshit, as if he can’t find another way to spend quality with her.
2
@bonanimathambo8721 You really aren’t good at communication. It’s fairly easy to see that he used his daughter as a shield for his bad eating habits.

They went from being scientists to being politicians. The ones who don’t do that are the ones the journalists won’t let us have access to.

He caught onto right when he claimed to eat junk food only twice a week and only because that’s how he spends time with his autistic daughter. That whole statement is a defense mechanism because he knew Rogan smelled blood. 1. He reduced the true number of times down to only two. 2. He gave an excuse for those two, which was his daughter. 3. He even tried to pull sympathy by letting everyone know she’s autistic, for no good reason. That info was not relevant. He went into full defensive mode right away.

@JohnSmith-bs9ym He didn’t. Roasting is one thing when it’s a friend taking hits at you as a friend. This guy was taking cringeworthy amounts of damage to his professional persona in front of millions of people.
1
@forevertoons9022 Of course (((he))) did.
1
@JohnSmith-bs9ym And?
1
We are free to do that.
1
@neilltavernier4586 What should they do instead of telling people the consequences of a bad diet?
1
1. He said he eats crap twice a week, but there is no way that’s true. He only said that after he sensed Rogan smelled blood. I’m willing to bet it’s everyday specifically because he said it’s not everyday. He had everyday on his mind. 2. Tried to use his daughter as an excuse. Like he doesn’t have another way to have quality time with her? 3. Denies that vitamins are good for you. Wtf? Eventually owns up to the fact that that’s stupid. 4. Immediately tries to switch to vaccines despite it not being relevant to the immediate point. 5. He says he runs, but not well. He doesn’t run at all.
1
Vaccines don’t cause autism. Expanding the definition of autism causes autism.
1
He does it a lot.
1
It’s because the only scientists the journalists give you access to are these types of idiots.
1
@jariwa7479 If not, then what is?
1
@PepperoniSlacks We aren't talking about developing vaccines in a lab. We're talking about eating basic food instead of poison.
1
@PepperoniSlacks Sigh, plus exasperated eyeroll Nope. As a medical professional, I can say that personal health is basic, and public health is advanced. An advanced practitioner can absolutely be expected to easily handle their own personal health. Someone who is not a professional should not be expected to try to handle public health matters.

@maddogx55 No, he said he’s a “junk-food-aholic” and then tried to backtrack and use his daughter as a shield because he realized Rogan smelled blood in the water. Yes, he does seem like he might be addicted to burgers.

His wife has a boyfriend.

@bonanimathambo8721 Away with you, bot.
