I doubt it was intentional. Also, we see Great Whites all the time in Del Mar while surfing so it’s time to take them off the endangered species list. A woman was attacked last week by one there.

@lolawants2008 Oh, two or three comments here is “history”?🤪 I have been playing in the Pacific Ocean since I was 5 and surfing since I was 11. I have lived and surfed (and windsurfed) on Kauai, Maui, Santa Cruz, San Diego and all over Baja. I still surf north San Diego county several times a week. Never saw sharks while living in Santa Cruz or on Kauai (but knew they were there). I had many close encounters on Maui (mostly tigers) while windsurfing and surfing. However, the most sharks I have ever seen by far has been 15th St and south in Del Mar. During the last four to five years it has become routine to see juvenile Great Whites in Del Mar. If I don’t see them then there’s a guy there all the time that films them while flying his drone so I ask him. Probably 80% of the time he can see juvenile Great Whites swimming along the coast there. Several summers ago a huge Great White breached about a football field outside of me. Friends have seen big Great Whites breaching there too. Why the uptick? No idea but last week a swimmer at 17th St in Del Mar was attacked by a juvenile Great White. That freaked everyone out because we always assumed the juveniles wouldn’t do that. I know what I’m talking about and anyone that surfs in Del Mar or any lifeguard there will agree with me. Feel free to call the Del Mar lifeguard tower at 17th St and ask them.

Relax, Karen. We see Great Whites all the time in Del Mar while surfing so it’s time to take them off the endangered species list. I wasn’t concerned about the juveniles until now since a woman was attacked last week by one there.

@lolawants2008 Your numbers are 100% bogus when you factor in those of us that spend hours in the ocean surfing several times a week - and especially in sharky waters. It’s time to catch Great Whites and eat them.

@lolawants2008 Of course you are far more likely to die in your car, but again, all I am saying is that the data regarding shark attacks does NOT and can not take into account those of us that spend hours in the ocean every week.

@lolawants2008 If I let fear of sharks bother me then I wouldn’t surf hours every week. Duh. Geezuz, do you have some serious PMS energy going on there, Karen?

@leviahimsa The Great Reset psychopaths want to... Reduce the worlds population to 500 million and have us all eating bugs. Meanwhile they will continue living like kings.
