However, pre neoconservatism (which was started by disgruntled warhawk democrats), repubs were the party of non interventionism. Democrats were responsible for getting the US into WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Serbia, etc. And then Obama dropped 100,000+ bombs on the Middle East and started the proxy war in Yemen. The only reason Dems got a brief pass from <appearing> to not be warmongers was during the Bush years. They would rant and rave and pretend they were antiwar while still funding Bush’s wars. excluding dirty rotten filthy neocons like Nikki Haley, it’s nice to see repubs returning to their roots of non interventionism.
