  1. All of this is proof that Keynesian economics doesn't work. They want people to spend in order to "get us out of the depression" and have created incentives to do that. Yet, despite these incentives, they're failing to get people to spend. Of course, savings are what grow an economy, not spending, but the Anointed don't know that because Keynesians don't understand basic economics.
