  2.  @scottyp2505  Having low black unemployment when EVERYONE'S unemployment was low does not change a thing. Obama is a source of pride for most black people (for obvious reasons). Trump worked VERY hard to erase that. Never before in history has a president had as their sole motivation the erasure of the previous president's legacy. I will never get over Republicans' insistence that Trump can't be racist because unemployment was low.

If there is a plan to protect people with preexisting conditions, WHERE IS IT? What I don't get....in various surveys, Republicans love every single one of the various parts and provisions of Obamacare (except for the mandate). But as soon as you tell them it's Obamacare, they quickly remember that they hate it. I think it's a rule that you must hate Obamacare if you want to be Republican. And when you point out their flip-flop, they come up with some excuse about Obamacare not being able to work because "something, something, something, Government Takeover." Lol.

If anybody did call him a dictator because of a mask mandate, it would be "freedom" loving Republicans who seem to be looking for new ways to kill each other by going to his indoor rallies with no mask.

  8. ​ @ItsAllAboutBrandon  First of all, no one is being "forced" onto government subsidies. Second, yes unemployment went to record lows under Trump. But it is simply a fact that unemployment was already at 5% and still going down when Obama left office. You're not going to change anyone's mind on that topic. Two sides of the same coin. They both get credit. Third of all, how dare you accuse black people of voting for Democrats because they have been "tricked." Black people vote for Democrats because Democrats push civil rights, voter protection, desegregation, greater access to healthcare. All things Republicans are against. Republicans literally go to court trying to make it harder for black people to vote. Which is why we call them racist. Yet conservatives like yourself always find a way to ignore all that other stuff and say they only like Democrats because they give them free stuff.

At the same time most people do not have health conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask. It looks like you're just looking for something to argue about.

What's the point of living in the richest country if you won't take advantage of the benefits? Thought I'd remind you that the longer it takes for us to get this under control, the more chance it has to mutate and send us back into the stone age like we were last year.

Apparently the 7 trillion in debt run up by Trump wasn't that big a deal at the time. But now Biden must not spend a dime and must only focus on cleaning up Trump's debt. Republicans have no problem with neighborhood segregation. I notice you forgot to mention the part about Republicans making it harder for black people to vote. I seem to remember one recent court case where the ruling was that Republicans had targeted minorities "with almost surgical precision." And then lets not forget all the white supremacists in the Republican Party. And before you go on some tangent about Democrats inventing the KKK, that was 150 years ago. We're talking about NOW, in 2020. ALLLLL the white supremacists are Republicans.

Trump is the first president in history in danger of going to prison if he leaves office. Starting with him paying off that porn star before the 2016 election. If his lawyer already went to prison for it, you can be sure Trump is going away too unless he wins reelection.

  41. Paying a fair share means they should at least pay something. All these huge corporations use accounting tricks and legal loopholes to avoid paying taxes every single year. Why do you think that is okay? What I can't figure out about conservatives is that one month they are always criticizing huge corporations for taking advantage of us, then the next minute they are defending those same practices in the name of capitalism. There's a term for that: cognitive dissonance. When you constantly complain about something and say you hate it, but then continue to support it out of habit.

Most black people are _not on foodstamps. Most black people already had a job before Trump was president. I remember when Republicans were all excited 6 months ago when they thought black voters were shifting o them after they passed prison reform. But then Republicans showed their true lack of compassion after George Floyd's death. They opposed police reforms and insisted there is no pattern of racism. Instead they followed Trump's lead and called for law and order. Now since you know you are not going to win black voters, you insult them by saying they just want free stuff. And the cycle continues.

The problem is that the wrong party passed Obamacare. Its like if Republicans passed Medicare-for-All and Democrats spent the next 10 years running against it because the wrong party passed it. Democrats would not be able to come up with a better plan.
