Of course you can raid someone's house. It's no different than any other criminal investigation. You just don't think the law should apply to Trump because it's "unprecedented." But guess what, it's also unprecedented for people to steal hundreds of national security documents and keep them in their house when they no longer work for the government. And it's also unprecedented for someone to defy a criminal subpoena to return those national security documents.
