@kfiscal01 There have always been armed IRS agents. They go after cybercrimes and money laundering. Even though Tucker seems to be giving it a lot of attention at the moment, this is not some new thing. Find a better source.

It's abuse OF power. But no, it's not. Trump left the White House almost two YEARS ago and refused multiple times to give that stuff back. He just didn't think they had the guts to come after him.

@gravitatemortuus1080 Because it is against the law for a private citizen to take government records. It's just that simple. It would be different if he gave them back when they asked nicely the first time back in January. Or when they ordered him to turn them over the second time by subpoena. But he refused. Clear criminal intent. Hence he is going to jail. He just kept pushing the line. Finally pushed to far.

@gravitatemortuus1080 1. Hillary did not go to jail because there was no proven criminal intent. She did it for convenience so she could email on her phone. She never even activated her government email account. Reckless but not criminal. Kind of like Trump on Jan 6. 2. Her job meant she had a security clearance. She was allowed to have government documents, even classified. She did not keep those documents after she left. The difference with Trump is he is KEPT government documents after he got fired. Also, there is criminal intent since he refused multiple times to give the records back. Finally, it doesn't matter if they were classified or not. It's irrelevant. He was not supposed to have government documents. Period.

Trump had a copy of the warrant himself the whole time. And a list of the stuff they took. But he made it seem like the DOJ was covering something up. All this dishonesty is why he is going to jail. He lied to them multiple times when he told them he gave them all the documents back.

They listed the three crimes they're looking at in the warrant. Espionage Act, mishandling government documents, and obstruction of justice. The fact that they found a huge trove of top secret documents there even AFTER they subpoenaed him for all of them two months ago pretty much makes this an open and shut case. There is literally no doubt that he is going to jail.
