Because it would have the appearance that she was cheating. So anyone with common sense would not push investigation that could have even the appearance of cheating. So even if Hunter Biden is guilty, Trump is going through this for lack of common sense. If Trump truly cared about corruption in Ukraine, why did he release the money right after Democrats started their investigation? Did Ukraine corruption problem magically go away?
