@Erick Pinheiro Biden's strategy: let Trump dig his own grave. Why get in the way?
7
Seth Aaron Its not incorrect. There have been studies done. Also we're not talking about primaries. In general presidential debates don't make much of a difference. Once in a while they do, but in general they don't. Just look at Trump and Hillary. Hillary was 3 points ahead before the debates and she won the election by 2 points (even though Trump was saved by the electoral college).
3
@milkey1 So what would you propose for good news about Trump in the past few months? Him defending the confederate flag and "our heritage"? That the virus is about to disappear just like he said? Seriously, rather than complaining, what good news about Trump would you recommend?
3
@jstorm5384 Wow, Trump did something not racist! He promoted a black guy. Just before the election! I wonder if maybe we should forgive him for all the racist stuff now since we're setting the bar that low.
3
@Chichicd424 Its not that dangerous?? Tell that to all the people who said the same then ended up in the hospital with pneumonia for 3 weeks and permanent heart and kidney damage from blood clots. People only want to talk about deaths, not the thousands of people who go home with life altering problems in addition to their damaged lungs.
2
He has been giving interviews. Something like 9 in just the last month. They just dont make the news because he doesn't say anything crazy
2
No one went soft on Hillary. I will remind you that she lost the election because everyone was so hard on her about her EMAILS. Even the mainstream media. Hillary's emails was the most talked about topic of the entire 2016 election and Trump was STILL saying the media was biased against him.

@caelachyt So again, how does it make me evil that I want a woman to be able to choose? She can say yes or she can say no, but I don't want to be all up in some random woman's business trying to tell her what she can or can't do with her body. Especially when I don't even know her.
1
@Chichicd424 Point #4: I shouldn't have to explain Points 1-3. But for some reason we have made everything political and now we're in a self-inflicted crisis because people only believe what they want to believe.
1
@caelachyt Really? The 16 smallest states barely have any effect as it is. The electoral college helps swing states not small states. The ONLY small swing state is New Hampshire. Try again. And as far as your talk about immigrants, now I see EXACTLY why you support Trump. You just said the quiet part out loud. Oops 😬 It was never really about legal vs illegal immigration.
1
@caelachyt Excuse me I meant Iowa and New Hampsire. These are the ONLY small states helped by the elextoral college. All the other small states are completely ignored just like New York and California are ignored. When is the last time a presidential candidate traveled to Wyoming? Never How about Hawaii? Never Rhode Island? Never Vermont? Never Idaho? Never South Dakota? Never Small states do not matter in presidential elections unless they are swing states We'll end class here for today. Tomorrow we'll pick up with anti-immigrant bigotry.
1
@caelachyt If the left needs to "import" people to win elections, why is it that Republicans have only won a majority of votes for president 1 time since 1988? Since 1988 only George W Bush won a majority of votes -- in his 2004 reelection. Republican ideas are NOT popular. Republicans NEED the electoral college to win. Democrats do not NEED new voters. We have been winning the popular vote nonstop for almost 30 years.
1
@caelachyt Okay, so you're saying that immigration laws have been this way since the 60s and in the 6 decades since, Republicans have still not found a way to attract immigrant voters. Question: why do immigrants not like voting for Republicans? Is it not the job of a political party to appeal to as many people as possible so they can win elections? It seems to me that only one party is interested in expanding its appeal to as many voters as possible. Meanwhile the other party just wants to increase turnout from a small group of people and rely on the electoral college. Until they decide to stop purposely making enemies, the Republican Party is playing with a ticking time bomb. Hint: stop offending immigrants and people of color. Try advancing some of the things they ask for instead of just ignoring them
1
@caelachyt Again, how hard is it to not appear to be racist?
1
@caelachyt Sir I did not call you racist. I just asked you how hard it is to not "appear" to be racist by saying that all immigrants want is "free stuff." Why are you offended? You said it. How would you feel if I said that all white people want is free stuff?
1
@caelachyt I don't understand how you can call immigrants moochers (something that would 100% get you fired from your job) but then you are the one offended for being called out on it. Please explain
1
@caelachyt So why don't immigrants vote for Republicans?
1
@caelachyt Why doesn't the Republican Party advance some of the things immigrants want so that they vote Republican?
1
@caelachyt Actually we just found out from a new study a week or two ago that more Americans now support more immigration than less immigration. For the first time in decades! Probably some kind of backlash to Trump. Just an FYI, more immigration is actually one of the best ways to boost the economy. More workers = more growth. Just that simple. Don't believe me, google it! Good thing for the economy that more immigration is becoming more popular. I can only imagine how upset you must be.
1
@caelachyt Also the first amendment only applies to the government. Not private companies. Any company can fire you in a second for bringing disgrace upon them by denigrating immigrants. No company wants to knowingly hire bigots. I'm sorry thats just the way it is. You'll just have to watch your mouth in public like any other responsible person.
1
@caelachyt I guess you thought that with Donald Trump in office, you would be more free to say bigoted thing. Looks like that didn't work out for you. In fact now everyone is hyper-aware of racism thanks to Trump. It literally backfired.
1
@caelachyt Hey conservatives are religious right? That why they hate abortion. So let me ask you something: what would Jesus do? Vote for a thrice married rapist just because he hates immigrants. Funny cause Jesus would most likely be a Marxist !! You guys are always bringing religion into everything. So in terms of immigration, what would Jesus do? As you know, Jesus loves everybody no matter where they come from. Maybe you should strive to be more like him. Or is Trump more important at the moment? Hypocrite.

@caelachyt Who has murdered babies? The entire left? Last I checked I didn't put my hands on any babies and I'm on the left. Last I checked abortion was between a woman a her doctor. And no one else. Not me. Not you. Her choice. Her doctor. Not my problem. Not your problem. Stop blowing things out of proportion. Furthermore, I'm not religious so I don't consider abortion "baby killing." It is a bundle of cells that can't think or feel anything. You are the one who chose to put emotion behind it.
1
@caelachyt Nobody is "killing babies." Women are deciding individually to discontinue with their zygote. Not my problem. Not your problem. Stop trying to make it a problem. --Your line about 57 pronouns doesn't deserve a comment Enough with the conspiracies dammit! You're not going to equate the left with Donald Trump. He is a bad person. And you support him. OWN IT Stop trying to justify liking Donald Trump. You like what you like. Own it. Own the bigotry and stop getting offended. Tell the world you hate immigrants and brown people from third-world countries. You are who you are. OWN IT.
1
@caelachyt I dont "support" abortion. I support their right to have a CHOICE. Please explain to me how that makes me evil. And please don't put words in my mouth or make up conspiracies.
1
@caelachyt So you're telling me that if someone you love got pregnant by one of these people you hate you would tell her to NOT have an abortion. Right?
1
@caelachyt Thats true. Thats because our elections are broken. No matter how many people vote for you it only comes down to a few states. Biden could win by 100 million and still lose the elecforal college.
1
My question was would you tell a loved one to NOT have an abortion if she got pregnant by one of these people you hate? What if this person wanted to have an abortion?
1
@caelachyt I'm afraid you still did not answer the question. Would you PREVENT a loved one from having an abortion if she got pregnant by some filth? Its a simple yes or no answer. Yes or No Stop trying to wiggle out of answering.
1
@caelachyt So I just want to clarify since you still didnt answer the actual question I asked. If the father was "filth" would you demand that she NOT have an abortion?
1
@caelachyt Hmm. So now you see it. Republican politicians are always forcing these culture wars to get people riled up and win elections. Abortion, immigration, NRA, religion, "dangerous liberals coming to get you", "scary inner cities." Always pointing out new enemies, always new reasons to be angry. 20 years ago Republicans didn't even care about abortion. But look now they got you riled up so you can vote for the party of big business. And yet in private, half these Republicans would let a loved one get an abortion if they didn't approve of the father. And at least half these Republicans are descendants of immigrants from third-world countries.
1
@caelachyt And you wouldn't demand anything from the loved one who got pregnant. You would let her do what she wants. So stop trying to tell grown women you don't know what they can and can't do.
1
@caelachyt I'll clarify. Stop telling grown women you don't know what to do with their bodies. It doesnt affect you or anyone else so leave it alone. If you say it affect the unborn baby, that's your personal belief that a bundle of cells is a baby. Don't force your religious beliefs on them. Your beliefs are no better than anyone else's
1
@caelachyt So apparently anyone who doesn't support Trump for a second term is a Marxist, baby-killer who wants to flood the country with immigrants so everyone else's voice doesn't matter anymore. ?? Because apparently everything is black and white like that. No shades of gray. No middle ground. Tell me I got any of that wrong. I'm legit trying to understand. Please no insults.

1
@Majik12 And James Comey...who single-handedly lost her the election
1
@Erick Pinheiro All Biden has to do is not offend anybody and he will win. It's amazing how simple it is.
1
@4444Kimmer4444 Hahahaha. Right on
1
@Umekodancing Regular people have an IQ of around 100. The measure is based on an average of 100. Basically you're trying to say that Trump's supporters are smarter than average (iq over 100) even though the vast majority do not have a college degree.
1
@legend6125 You do not need a college degree to be smart. But you do need to be somewhat smart to get a college degree. Basically, Trump's supporters are most likely not smarter than the average because so few of them have college degrees.
1
@legend6125 Just think about how fact-challenged Trump's supporters are. You present them with evidence and they rush to ignore it. Most of them are not seeking out correct information. They're looking for information they want to hear.
1
@legend6125 Thats true that a moron can attain some degrees. But look at how Trump's supporters are attacking Dr. Fauci for spreading the latest scientific advice. He went to medical school. You cannot get into nor finish medical school without being in the top 5-10% intellectually. He has run the NIH for 30 years. You trying to tell me Trump's supporters whp haven't gone to college are smarter than him? Has he been right all the time....no. But its a NEW virus and NOBODY has all the answers. But Trump's supporters seem to be adamantly against listening to the answers we do have. Trying to play politics with a virus that does not care about politics
1
@legend6125 I will state it very simply. Donald Trump has gotten more people killed than George W Bush. All because he didn't want to listen to scientific advice and shut down the economy for a few months. So here we are 4 months from the election and the economy is still struggling. Totally predictable self-inflicted wound.
1
@slactweak He said it more than once. Go listen again
1
@slactweak Chris Wallace asked him why cities are having more crime RIGHT NOW and Trump said its because Democrats and Biden want to defund and ABOLISH the police. You can even see that on the previews of the interview
1
@slactweak Exactly. Which is why Trump needs to go. He lies about EVERYTHING
1
@slactweak Trumpism (AKA aggressive ignorance) can only be ended with a resounding defeat in November. Trump's supporters have stuck with him through way too much to turn back now.

1
@legend6125 I mean come on this is the guy who called Mexican immigrants rapists and bragged about sexual assault and they still voted for him
1

1
@legend6125 He says the quiet part out loud....which is exactly what they're looking for. Someone who can say what they want to say and still get away with it
1
@slactweak He says the quiet part out loud....which is exactly what they're looking for. Someone who can say what they always wanted to say and still get away with it
1
@KnightxxArrow Well who else are you going to get your advice from. Trump is in the situation he's in because he doesn't listen to advice. He's getting ready to lose by a historic margin all because he doesn't want to listen to scientific advice. We could have beaten the coronavirus months ago if only he had listened to scientific advice about when to reopen the country. The economy could be booming again! But nooooo. Republicans hate listening to "elites" with all their "education"
1
@caelachyt Of course they can try to change it. But you and every Republican will be against it. Because you need all the help you can get to win a presidential election.
