The courts are not supposed to be political you know

@funkyfiss Unfortunately the last 3 Supreme Court justices were chosen entirely for political reasons. Heck, Trump literally ran on appointing political conservatives to the courts. He politicized the entire federal judiciary. Now everyone knows that the court system is inherently anti-Democrat. Because of Trump. Trump literally breaks everything. You get too close to him, you ruin your reputation. If you work for him, better make sure you get a good lawyer because your chances of going to prison just skyrocketed.

@RtistiqSkubie When he says conservative, he means political. If he meant "textualist" from a legal standpoint, he would have said that. What he actually means is that Thomas and Alito are the only ones who vote the way he wants them to (fitting his conservative politics). Unless this guy is a trained constitutional lawyer, he was stating a (conservative) political opinion.

@funkyfiss Yea thank god Republicans broke all norms to make sure Obama couldn't fulfill his constitutional duty. We got to get three justices appointed by a president who lost the popular vote and confirmed by a Republican Senate representing 44 percent of the population. But who cares about the will of the people anymore right! Certainly not you You say Trump had too many closeted "RINOs" giving him advice. I have come to the notice that Republicans use the term RINO for anyone who doesn't support Trump. They didn't change. You changed the definition of what it means to be a Republican. Just in: Trump organization and CFO indicted for tax crimes. Criminal corrupt president. Just in: Trump ranked 41 out of 44 presidents. And dead last in moral authority and administrative skills (AKA he is a very bad person and his government was a disorganized mess). Obama rises to No. 10. overall

@funkyfiss My statistics are publicly available knowledge. Most Republican senators represent small states with hardly any people in them. Google it! Population-wise, they should only have 44 senators. Google it! So basically we had extreme minority rule going on during the Trump years (which therefore extends to the 6-3 conservative Supreme Court... since both Trump and Bush both lost the popular vote). Not too mention Republican gerrymandering in the House. Republicans are soooo upset they are out of power even though they are not supported by most of the country and only win because of structural advantages. Anti-democracy spoiled brats would be a good description. You have some nerve accusing Democrats of cheating when most Americans don't even want Republicans in power. As far as the Trump Organization indictment, it will certainly be successful. Prosecutors do not file charges like this unless they are 95+ percent sure they will be successful. And in the Russia investigation, every single Trump ally indicted was convicted. So your example just proves my point. It's strange you call all these other politicians corrupt, yet everyone who works for Trump either ends up quitting or going to prison. But hey, he only hires the best right!

Hi-Tech292 LOL. Not CNN. The official Cspan poll of 141 historians and presidential observers. They scored each president on 10 different characteristics. They've done it after every presidential transition since 2000. Trump's highest score was public persuasion (which was still not that high seeing as he lost the popular vote twice). Of course you will scream bias. But I have to remind you that there are more people in this world than Trump supporters. Most of his support is limited to rural, Middle aged white people without a college education. People who see a changing country and freak out. I will also remind you that there were celebrations worldwide when Trump lost. So before you blame the rankings on "liberal bias" realize it might actually be you that's biased against everyone else. Of course this isn't finalized. I'm sure Trump's ranking might actually change over the years as we learn more about his presidency (criminal activity).

@Pro3110 By the way, no one was charged with "occasional use of a company car." They kept two sets of books to hide that extra income (the classic sign that they knew what they were doing was illegal) and were hiding almost $2 million in income from the IRS. Dodging taxes is a crime, plain and simple. And calling it politically-motivated does not get you off the hook. Yet another Trump henchman goes to prison. Ever since Trump first got elected, the party of law and order keeps acting like laws don't apply to them. This brings us to 8 Trump henchmen charged or convicted of various crimes.
