@Shane Williams Actually it is true. Trump runs the Justice Department. He wants to "flush out" people who aren't "loyal." Just an FYI ..... following written law and absolute loyalty to the president are two completely different playbooks. Pick one.

@In CogNito "Process crime" still has the word "crime" in it if I'm not mistaken. It's hard to carry out law enforcement there are no consequences for lying. And it's not like Roger Stone lied to law enforcement by accident. He did it to protect Trump. Today's conservatives are ALWAYS trying to minimize and justify breaking the law. Why? It is UNBELIEVABLE how much the "rule of law" party has changed since Trump took over.

Either they’re WAY more blatant or just REALLY bad at not getting caught. I wonder what you guys would have said if even a single one of Obama’s friends had gone to prison — vs. 6 or 7 of Trump’s. Trump may indeed win the award for strongest economy in history, but he will MOST DEFINITELY win the award for most corrupt.

KingJustice98 Not exactly true. Republicans only call the Democrats criminals. Doesn’t mean it’s true. They call Dems “treasonous” for having the audacity to investigate Trump. They think disliking Trump is TOTALLY UNREASONABLE, therefore they believe anyone in the government who is not loyal to Trump is a criminal. On the other hand, it’s exclusively Republicans who are actually getting convicted and going to prison....under a Republican President.

Adam Schiff isn’t trying to “overthrow the presidency.” He wants to remove Trump from office through the legally defined impeachment process for cheating and corruption. Now Republican politicians are trying to excuse their vote to acquit by saying “Trump learned his lesson from impeachment.” NO, HE DIDN’T. @elcajondavid1 FIrst of all, no one has "proved" that Blasey Ford ever lied. Sorry to say, but that is 100% your opinion. You weren't at that high school party. And neither were any of the people criticizing her. Also, it's true that some people don't get prison sentences because they don't get prosecuted in the first place. But it doesn't mean lying to Congress is not against the law. Defending Stone by complaining that other people didn't go to prison for the same thing is a TERRIBLE defense of a crime.

@elcajondavid1 Question: how do you prove that Blassey Ford was lying just because there were no other witnesses? Like you just said...there were no witnesses. So good luck with that. Also 7 to 9 years is in the DOJ guidelines, so apparently it's not cruel and unusual punishment. Given that you are NOT a lawyer that is 100% your opinion. What happened to the "rule of law party." Seems more and more like Republicans only care about the "rule of law" when it applies to black people.
