  5. Find me any country on the planet that has a balanced budget. My guess is you will have a hard time. Unlike a household, it is generally good economics to use debt to finance things in a country. It helps increase the pace of economic growth. As long as the economy grows faster than the debt, everything will be fine. But since we're so concerned about the national debt all of a sudden, maybe the GOP shouldn't keep cutting taxes and increasing spending when they are in power, only to reverse course and care about a "balanced budget" only when a Democrat wants to grow the economy. 25% of the total debt came from just 4 years of Trump. 25 PERCENT!! Trump had the MOST UNBALANCED budget in history. And not a peep from Republicans about DEBT until Biden entered office.

  14. The eyewitnesses were wrong. The videos were either misinterpreted or selectively edited. Fox News knows the election wasn't stolen. Theirs hosts know. Republicans politicians know. Trump's entire administration knew. Sidney Powell knows. Rudy Giuliani knows. Democrats know. Independents know. But Trump's most diehard supporters will take that lie to their grave before they will admit they were duped. Because they WANTED to believe the Big Lie. They have made it part of their identity.

Trump himself saw those same polls and got himself impeached trying to stop Biden ahead of time. If we weren't so determined to get rid of Trump, we most likely would have chosen someone else. Joe was the right person for the right time. Tulsi probably would have lost. Jorgensen probably would have lost. Not worth the risk. It's about priorities.

Now suddenly the same people say that support for Bush OR Obama means you're unpatriotic. If being a patriot means you must ONLY support a twice-impeached defeated former president then I guess I just won't be a patriot. Almost like a curse word in that case.

It was a goal for the beginning of July but we hit it the beginning of August. And yes the other 30% are making life more miserable for the rest of us. The pandemic could be over by now. We can deal with new variants later if/when they pop up. No excuse to prolong things now.

  36.  @hieithegreat  Pretty sure it's not in the pharmacist's job description to memorize the ingredients of the medications they dispense. I would know since I used to work in a pharmacy. Their job is to know the side effects and any drug interactions, not the ingredients list. And for another matter, I'm pretty sure that you yourself don't read the ingredients list of every medication you take. But since you apparently looked up the ingredients yourself, which ones are the lethal ones? I'd like to know.

  41. Probabaly hundreds of thousands of classified docs are created every year by various agencies. The Archives have to trust everyone to be honest following the law and sending everything to them when they leave office. The only reason they knew Trump hadn't returned everything was because they realized certain famous items like his "love letters" to Kim Jong Un were missing. Then when Trump gave them back to the Archives a year later, they were mixed in with over 100 classified documents. That's when the FBI got involved.

  49.  @JHank-yb4jv  I think it's settled. To be a S.C. Justice, you need to be smart, go to good schools, and have a decent number of years of experience working with the law in some capacity. Then you need to network well enough to get an interview with the President if there happens to be an opening on the court. That's pretty much it. P.S. if you want to be appointed by a Republican president, you need to be a member of the conservative Federalist Society so they can vet you and help guide your decisions as a judge.
