@JHank-yb4jv I think it's settled. To be a S.C. Justice, you need to be smart, go to good schools, and have a decent number of years of experience working with the law in some capacity. Then you need to network well enough to get an interview with the President if there happens to be an opening on the court. That's pretty much it. P.S. if you want to be appointed by a Republican president, you need to be a member of the conservative Federalist Society so they can vet you and help guide your decisions as a judge.
