  1. The Republicans ARE doing a stunt. New York's level of crime is not high at all compared to most other large cities. Yet Republicans decided to bring their entire congressional committee to New York to highlight "so much crime." It's a stunt to please the felon Donald Trump and excite the FOX audience and everyone will forget about it by next week.

  3.  @backwardsland1  That may be true, and we can debate the policies around criminal justice reform and mass incarceration. But there's no need to exaggerate the facts by saying murderers are being set free before trial.

  4. It's a decrease in crime. Republicans are determined to push this false narrative that crime is super high in New York. Determined. But it's not going to make it true. This is a stunt for an audience of one. Republicans are so scared of Trump.
