Well seeing as the vote count gave Biden 51 percent, and his approval rating from most polls today is around 51-52 percent, I think that should answer your question. I'm guessing that's not the answer you want to hear. But maybe after enough repetition it will sink in.

@autojohn-pu1vf Every statistic is "fake" unless it says something good about Donald Trump. That's how your mind works.

@Cpt_JohnRackham We chose Biden because polls showed him doing the best against Trump. And we knew Trump supporters would have a hard time demonizing him since he's an old white man. Trump himself saw those same polls and got himself impeached trying to stop Biden ahead of time. If we weren't so determined to get rid of Trump, we most likely would have chosen someone else. Joe was the right person for the right time. Tulsi probably would have lost. Jorgensen probably would have lost. Not worth the risk. It's about priorities.

@DirtyRedMuzik You mean the "segregationist" who picked a black Vice-President and is gearing up to put a black woman on the Supreme Court? Not to mention the most diverse Cabinet in history. Seems like he's doing the exact opposite of everything a segregationist would do. When it comes to race issues, every day I realize more that I made the right choice. Sounds like you should be happy too!

@DirtyRedMuzik And yet, if Biden dies in office, Kamala will be POTUS. Biden really has an interesting way of "using" people, as you say. But keep trying to degrade her though. You're the reason black people don't vote Republican. Constant insults and trying to degrade people. It's no different than how you treated Obama. You wouldn't even accept that he was born in America. Not to mention a future black female Supreme Court Justice and the most diverse cabinet in history. You can't beat that. But you don't want to talk about that do you?

@debwell7248 For one, "strong" approval is not the same as overall approval. And second, Rasmussen is the most Republican-biased poll in the country. Their numbers are consistently off the mark from every other poll, including Fox News. So not only are you numbers likely wrong by a several points, but those "strong" approval numbers are irrelevant to the question of Biden's overall approval. In the future, please try to rely on more than just one polster.

@Dangalls3 Maybe it's because Trump had 74 million enthusiastic supporters. And Biden had 81 million people who strongly hated Trump. I'm pretty sure that would explain rally numbers. Really, it's not rocket science. Trump was always a historically unpopular president who had to rely on the Electroal College to push him over the edge.
1
@Dangalls3 We did NOT establish that Trump could not get more votes than Obama by being unpopular. Your definition of popularity is the number of votes someone got. My definition of a politician's popularity (and the definition of every professional) is the percentage of people who liked Trump. Yes, a lot of people liked Trump. But vastly more people hated him. Of course that's probabaly all just "fake news" to you. You're choosing to ignore statistics you don't like. Unfortunately, math doesn't care about your feelings.

@Dangalls3 All Trump had to do was take Covid seriously and he would have won. Less people would have died.
1
@debwell7248 Why do you equate crowd size with political support. Biden is not an entertainer. Trump is an entertainer at heart. And he appeals to a particular crowd. That does not mean most people want him to run the country. Why is that so hard for you to comprehend. Kevin Hart draws bigger crowds than Biden too. Do you think Kevin Hart should be president? If I want entertainment, I'll watch a movie. And you really have some nerve talking about someone's cognitive abilities after the last guy who had every personality disorder in the book.
1
@Dangalls3 Yea sure. Covid was just a plot to get rid of Trump. And yet here we are in 2021 holding the Tokyo Olympics a year late with no spectators and constant delays because of "the flu".
1
@Dangalls3 I think you read the news wrong. The CDC’s PCR test in question looks only for SARS-CoV-2, not influenza. They discontinued it because they want to release a test that is faster and can test for both. That is quite different from saying their test mistakenly diagnoses influenza cases as COVID-19, as you're suggesting. The viruses are not genetically similar, so that would be impossible. Please get off of social media. You are clearly prone to disinformation. As for your other question, I would assume it's because Covid is quite a bit more contagious, which has been known since Day 1.

@debwell7248 Trump is a successful ENTERTAINER who is LAZY and only ran for President because he likes ATTENTION. It's one of the reasons you voted for him. An outsider. And his fans are diehards. Joe Biden has NO diehard fans, but tons of name recognition. And I and a whole lot of other people were quite ready to get rid of that incompetent, scandalous idiot who was sitting in the White House. 2019 polling showed Biden as the only Democrat who could beat Trump, even with the good economy. Trump saw those same polls, which is why he was willing to get himself impeached over Ukraine just to stop Biden. A whole year before the election. It seems Trump didn't think those polls were "fake news". So he got himself impeached and still lost. Polls turned out to be correct! Lucky for Trump fans, he taught his supporters to invent a fake reality by just calling anything they don't like fake news. So now they live in an alternate universe where half of them think he will be "reinstated" after some "audit". Snowflakes.

@debwell7248 I couldn't write a fiction novel that good. Reality is stranger than fiction. First we had the nation's first black president. Charismatic and well-liked, but Republicans didn't want to believe was even American. They made up endless conspiracy theories about him. Then Republicans spent an entire decade trying to strip away people's health insurance just because it was affiliated with this guy. Then we had the world's stupidest president, who got his strongest support from Russia (former Soviet Union) and from white supremacists. Two impeachments: one for trying to cheat in the election and one for leading a coup against his own government after he lost. And now we have the nation's oldest president. He promotes science after the last guy pushed endless disinformation in the fight against a worldwide pandemic. He also happens to have the strongest stock market performance in more than 50 years... and he doesn't even brag about it.

@debwell7248 What? I don't want communism. I don't know what they're telling you on conservative media. I have no interest in communism. It's true I don't mind paying higher taxes for universal healthcare, but let's not blow things out of proportion. I actually do believe in capitalism as a whole. And I think Trump was a very stupid person with several diagnosible personality disorders (and you know it too). And Biden does have a better stock market.
