Bannon got indicted for being held in contempt. Faces up to two years in prison. Funny how Republicans are now the party that roots for breaking any law as long as it in defense of Trump. Cult. They have nothing to stand for but kneeling at Trump's feet.

@DuffyF56 No such thing as an unconstitutional impeachment. If the House of Representatives votes to impeach a president, they are impeached. Simple as that. I'm sure you've read the Second Amendment to the Constitution, but you seem to be unaware of the whole rest of the document. You should check it out some time. The part about impeachments is only one paragraph, so it shouldn't take you too long.

@DuffyF56 Sounds like a personal problem that you feel it was illegitimate. The vote was taken, and Trump was impeached for his corruption and abuse of power. Twice.

@DuffyF56 Trump: "I have an Article II (of the Constitution) where I have the right to do whatever I want." The guy was just asking to be impeached. And Democrats obliged. Ask and you shall receive.

@DuffyF56 Sorry you can't handle that he lost

@DuffyF56 Mark Meadows is not the only one to sue the committee. Others have sued using the same argument and lost within a matter of days when judges took up the case quickly. Also, I see you still haven't read that part of the constitution about impeachment. There are no rules about how an impeachment must be conducted. All that is required is a vote. Are you here to actually form a valid argument. Or does actually being correct hold no importance to you? Calling someone a liar doesn't mean you know what you're talking about.

@DuffyF56 Cult. All you can think about is defending Trump and his corruption. Trump: "I have an Article II (of the Constitution) where I have the right to do whatever I want." The guy was just asking to be impeached. And Democrats obliged. Ask and you shall receive. Does your cult do chants in the middle of the night. Do you wear orange face paint to match your false idol.

@DuffyF56 That argument that the committee is illegitimate has already failed in court multiple times. When courts decide lawsuits against an act of Congress, they look at what Congress's intent was. And their intent was to hold an investigation into the attack, not get held up by technicalities tossed around by people responsible for the attack. If Republicans wanted a fair voice, they shouldn't have killed the bipartisan 9/11-style commission. And they shouldn't have boycotted appointing anyone to this current committee just because Pelosi didn't want suspects (Jim Jordan) in charge of investigating their own crime. The courts understand that Republicans voluntarily failed to participate and that the investigation must go on. No one is surprised that Republicans are against investigating. But it is too important.

@DuffyF56 Yeah, Trump was acquitted 43 to 57. Clearly he is "innocent." Also, Trump won in 2016 by even less than Biden and Trump thought he had a mandate. So what's the difference? Donald Trump has no agenda other than staging rallies to spew hate. Why are you supporting him? Are you that angry with modern America, black people, Latinos, and college-edicated white people that you will support a guy who tried to overturn a presidential election? Do you hate Democrats that much?
