@WattisWatts Are you trying to say that Trump was a whistleblower attempting to bring to light some horrible act of the US government? Are you claiming he was a journalist who received these documents from a whistleblower? No? Then not the same.

@WattisWatts seperate issues. The need for reform of the FBI has nothing to do with their investigating Trump. Instead of whining about the FBI we should be asking why Trump took so many highly classified documents and then tried to hide them. Someone needs to investigate this and like it or not that is the job of the FBI.

@WattisWatts Sure makes perfect sense to compare Trump with anyone who has ever had any interaction with the FBI. I guess this is the same as Waco, the Kennedy assassination and the arrest of Al Capone.

@colonelangus8247 No he can not. There is a paper trail for declassification. In addition the president can not declassify documents related to the nations defense. What would happen if say you had a president in the future so corrupt he would declassify secrets related to our nation's nuclear systems and sell them to someone like say the Saudis in exchange for, I don't know, 2 billion dollars?
