Have you read the mobilization order? It contains 0 times the word "reserve" however it has a few times the word "conscription" on it. Funny thing don't you think?
In Russia, there is something called "BARS". This is the russian reserve, people that have been in the army and after their contract ended, they chose voluntarily to sign a reserve contract, basically to show up on the barracks one month per year as refreshing training in case the army needs you, you're paid while on the reserve. This people have been called up months ago already, you just don't know it.
Now, the people we are talking here, this "300.000" new mobilized men, are NOT from BARS, this people are in the inactive military reserve. This people have only done the mandatory military service, they never serve in the active military forces, they were never deployed and they were there for a year at maximum. After that, they never received fresh training, and many of the men called up ended their service many, many years ago. They never signed a contract to be on the reserve, do you get that?
They are conscripts by definition, here and in Russia. Why dont you go and read the order?
