  4.  @greeny202ab . For me it's not actually a matter of leaving or staying. It's a matter of what we have instead. I notice that even you concede that Brexit will come with some hard consequences. But that really isn't what the majority of leavers voted for. Brexit has been as miss sold as PPI.

  7.  @greeny202ab . It’s like you Brexiters had a glossy brochure in 2016 for a holiday resort. But in 2019 it still hasn’t been built. There is no resort. No hotel. No pool or facilities. Even transport can’t be guaranteed. But you lot still want to go. Whining like children when we remind you of reality.

NOT WITH A NO DEAL. “I think we can strike a deal as the Canadians have done based on trade and getting rid of tariffs. It’s a very, very bright future I see.” Boris Johnson. 2016. But in 2019 Canada has refused to roll over the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) if the UK abandons its withdrawal agreement with Brussels. Time for a rethink?

  9.  @greeny202ab . James O'Brien used a metaphor about a box this morning. But I have my own version. It's like people voted on whether to eat the contents of a sealed box. Vote EAT campaigned on a promise that the box was a Harrods hamper. Vote Refrain warned "We don't know what's in the box." Vote EAT accused them of hunger mongering and of being traitors. Eat means Eat! Vote Eat won the referendum. Now we take a peek in the box and it turns out to be full of rats but Vote EAT supporters still insist that we must honour the referendum.
