  5.  @achandler6583  . Would that be the same WTO that Trump recently described as "broken" and "a rip off"? And you still don't grasp that our businesses will still need a trade deal with the EU post Brexit. So would you negotiate a deal with a customer who owed you money? Use a bit of common.

  6.  @achandler6583 . Membership is expensive for sure but all our businesses have the advantage of trading through the single market, customs union, and the EU's worldwide FTA arrangements. The WTO will be rubbish in comparison. For manufacturing certainly. And that is the considered opinion of Patrick Minford, the pro Brexit economist. The only figure that matters is the net. And we will still need a trade deal with the EU post Brexit and owing them money will still not help us. Just common sense really.
