Lack of faith leaves no vacuum unless you have an ego problem where you can't accept the way things are for what they are. Where you get greedy and feel you need something special beyond this physical world and your mind. Faith comes from a mix of insecurity and greed.

@2tycade no. some don't have faith at all. just knowledge. if i dont know the answer to something, i dont' say i " have faith that x".. i just say I DON'T KNOW. lol. again, faith is arrogance and greed. be happy with what things actually are. you're not special. that's just what it is. really takes the pressure off, when you think about it. it's freeing. <3

@whatwhatyep you mean "how". it is greed because you are demanding "specialness" when things are naturally special enough without all the superstition heaped on top. look around you and be satisfied with the earth you've been brought onto. enjoy. stop begging for a master. stop expecting more more more. to be "filled up" by a magic man in the sky. that others take your belief seriously when that's all it is. belief. you can believe anything you wish at all. doesn't make it true. you don't need an entity or a book to tell you what's right or wrong. it's common sense. save yourself. stop expecting someone else to. we could fix this f u cke d up world right now if enough of us just went and did it.

@wolf-bearchief3705 ...no. atheism isn't scientism, though an atheist can be a scientist. i am atheist, but not scientist.

@jonny-dp2qr woah "geNerASHunS" person. take a breath.. and think: you don't find life inherently meaningful? <3

@whatwhatyep "why" do i "believe" x? i don't believe anything. i just know things and think things. i think x is true because of the obvious (lack of) evidence (to the contrary). you actually meant "how?" or "in what way?" those are different. try again maybe. <3

@ProtoIndoEuropean88 oh yes, one can and does have knowledge with no faith. in fact, the less faith employed, the more knowledge must be used.

The last, the evidence is pretty strong than that the religion is a problem.
