New policy: Ever less reliance on China.

@obsidianstatue Obsidian, one doesn't have to demand everything at once, you'll see my opinion was very carefully worded to be realistic. I don't see what is vindictive about wanting to not rely on what is essentially a fascist regime that is literally conducting genocide and has now claimed 10,000s of lives across the world by hiding the outbreak, how in the world is that vindictive?

Heather Larson Heather, it's called "public opinion", it is the fertile soil that government policy grows in (when things are working right)

@obsidianstatue I don't think I am, and I don't think that's what vindictive means. Vindictive is closer to "spite" than it is to "hysteria". Okay, we know there is money to be made in China... that's why they have until now turned a blind eye to their atrocities. We can normalise relations when they stop their genocide, stop occupying Tibet, and the south China sea, stop bullying Taiwan and after paying reparations to the rest of the world for the lives and economic fallout their virus has left in its wake

@obsidianstatue The whole world knows China hid it, anyone saying they did a good job is in their pocket to ignore such gross misconduct. Yeah you don't know me mate, so stop pretending to know anything deep about people you know barely anything about really isn't a good look.
