@Kicky. We've always had tradition, and the Queen is currently alive, as in she is of the present.

@J.J Swann. She was born in England.... if you're talking about her ancestry, then... all English people have German ancestry, look up where the Angles and Saxons come from. :D

@Kinky. That's not really traditional, unless your definition of traditional just encompasses all habits we do and have done. It's traditional to wear warm clothes in the winter... The royals bring in shit tons of money and are tools of soft power, as well as essential for the constitution in it's current form and a stabilising force.
