They seems more like hippy types to me, who overwhelmingly vote left wing.

Except they are hippies who overwhelmingly vote left wing, lmao.

Entopyms. Not that I think the world is flat, but you'd be at different positions from the sun whether you're on a flat surface or not. Try this experiment, stand in front of a light bulb and tell a friend to stand next to you, guess what, the shadows are angled differently.

Cavendish experiment proves gravity. This was done over 200 years ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavendish_experiment So yeah, there's your proof mate.
5
That's a good point, whenever they come across something they can't explain it's usually an international government conspiracy, "the aeroplanes go slower or faster on purpose"

@Sam, I'm British and I've never met a creationist either. The Christians here are way more secular, not taking the bible entirely literally, science comes first. and no, I'm not playing your silly little games, you carry on believing in your flat earth if you like, and I'll continue believing in sunsets, sunrises, timezone, eclipses and all the other things that fly in the face of a flat earth theory.
4
Except they are hippies, who overwhelmingly vote for left wing parties xD
3
@Abdul, never met a Christian in my life that thinks the world is flat, one of my, not so bright, left wing associates started talking about the world being flat about a year ago though.
3
@Doc. Aight mate, it's by no means an exhaustive list, someone smarter than myself or someone with a background in physics could probably name 10s of reasons the flat earth theory is bollocks.
2
They think light can only travel so far before it stops xD They also think an eclipse is caused by the invisible anti-sun.
2
Yes, lies, lies it's all lies, all this work to cover up the truth, all this fake science which needs to make sense and reflect reality, all those people who need to be in on it and never let the secret out, all that because..... for no reason, they want to troll us I guess. xD
2
@Sam. "Your eyes can only see so far". I can see things light years away if I look out my window at the sky. Your eyes see by light entering them, and light travels infinitely far (or until something absorbs it).
2
@Carlos, it's ironic how the ones who hate him elevate him to the position of a god, where the fall of every sparrow is his fault xD
2
@Andrew, you think hippies don't overwhelmingly vote left? Fair enough, I guess free love and taking loads of drugs are conservative values to you xD
2
@Sam. If the Earth is flat wouldn't you expect to see the sun all the time anywhere?
2
Vikas, but something sufficiently big enough (like the moon for example) you would. Try this experiment, take a grain of sand and move it 20 foot away from you.... gone right? Now try it with a skyscraper..... omg it's still visible at 20 foot away!.

Hopefully no one tells these people about the holographic universe theory.
1
They'd say they went in a circle around the "plate", most likely.
1
How the hell is Trump fuelled by racism?
1
"Nonetheless thanks for confirming for me and the OP that at least SOME Flat Earth supporters are Trump supporters." People are individuals, who'd have thought it?
1
Flat earth is verifiable, religions are generally unverifiable. Not the same thing.
1
@D Feenstra. Have you spent most of your life in the United States? I've never even met a biblical literalist/creationist before in the UK.
1
How can a 2 dimensional photograph show all the dimensions of a 3 dimensional shape, exactly?
1
Idiotic ideas generally are.
1
@Scott, it's "they're" by the way.
1
@Sam America. "Globeheads will say the magical force of gravity holds it all down." ^ The Cavendish experiment proves gravity is a thing mate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavendish_experiment

Everyone gets one vote, which is how it's meant to be imo.
1
Round things can be flat, btw.
1
and only 10% of you have access to your own toilet.
1
basketball players aren't successful based on their intelligence.
1
Lol, they think the reason you can't see the sun anywhere on Earth is because light only travels so far and then stops. They also think an eclipse is caused by the invisible "anti sun". xD
1
They say it's because the world's governments won't let anyone go to the edge (Antarctica)
1
Hippy liberals are Trump voters? Okay xD
1
Maybe no other news fit their narrative today.
1
You'd be surprised how much science has been uncovered by monks and such. Newton was a practising Christian himself.
1
But you're just basing that on your feelings, Alex
1
Great argument.
1
Has Greece split the atom or landed on the moon?
1
That sentence doesn't make sense. That's like saying "she gave me permission to rape her", it's a logical paradox.
1
They're not in any position of power.
1
She also did her scientific test of looking across the horizon xD
