depends what air rifle you mean there are ones that almost literally a .22lr they have .22 caliber projectiles, rifled barrels and shoot about the speed of a .22 lr and sound about like a .22lr when shot maybe a little quieter cause its air instead of an explosion but still

@ohlordy2042 just threatening with a gun doesnt always work though what if theyre on drugs or have a high adrenaline rush you never know what could happen id rather have something i know will stop them if i actually had to fire it at them to stop them rather than hoping itll stop them without havivg to shoot them and just showing it
