If you choose to go aftermarket on inner and outer tire rods, our shop uses Sankei 555 suspension parts Made in Japan. In our area, Napa is their distributor. We’ve had exceptional luck with these 100% made Japanese parts.

@lucid484 We used Mevotech when a customer wanted the cheapest type suspension part. Their quality is inconsistent and we’ve replaced control arms and other suspension components 1-3 years after their installation. Pretty much after their warranty has expired. Some customers just get rid of their vehicles within a year of installing Mevotech parts. Many shops use them in my local area because of their cost. I don’t recommend Mevotech or Moog to our customers.

@Tony22715 you might check with your local dealer. Toyota was selling a remanufactured rack and pinion. There are several Toyota dealers on eBay as well to ask. I have no idea who rebuild those parts for Toyota unless it’s Denso..🤷🏻‍♂️

@nordicpride9708 I’ve used ATP 205 Silicone bases leak stop on a few rack/pinion units after a thorough flush. It’s helped extended the life of the unit. However, power steering fluid should be replaced every 30-35,000 miles with a quality fluid like Lubegard. They also have special fluid for Honda/Acuras.
