  1.  @bradcanning875  Well, Brad . . . Quashing people's right to open their businesses? Perfectly okay. Quashing people's right to not have to wear a mask? Perfectly okay. Quashing people's right to move about freely? Perfectly okay. Quashing a public sector union's right to strike? Absolutely unacceptable! Can you not see the incredible hypocrisy on display? Where were you when the egregious violations of rights in the name of fighting COVID were taking place? Why didn't you stand up for rights then? I'm supposed to take your concerns over protecting rights seriously now?

You have NEVER looked at ANY of the data for yourself, have you? You completely believed everything that came out of the mouths of the talking heads on the six o'clock news, didn't you? It would explain your profound ignorance of the data amply available even way back in APRIL OF 2020 which showed the threat from COVID was being greatly exaggerated. And all the data since then has only demonstrated that even more unequivocally. That early data was deliberately IGNORED to spread the myth that COVID was some sort of existential threat to the entire population. There were a few voices back then pointing out that exaggeration and fearmongering was taking place, but they were denigrated and defamed by the media and so-called "experts". The long-standing pandemic response plans that governments had, plans which recommended AGAINST the very actions subsequently undertaken by governments, were all curiously and summarily thrown out. How can you not know any of this? You live in the internet age yet apparently still trust talking heads on "news" channels to inform you, when, with just a modicum of effort, you could inform yourself. Your credibility to complain about government overreach is precisely zero.
