  1.  @derekwoodford9955  It's simple: Disney decided to stick its nose in politics instead of staying out of it. The result was that Disney has its special district privileges revoked --- a legislative move, incidentally, which impacted other special districts as well. There had long been dissatisfaction with Disney's special district and the way it operates, and Disney trying to tell the duly elected legislators of the state how they should handle a bill was the last straw. So the special districts got revoked and revamped. The thing is, under Florida law, the special district and Disney were supposed to be SEPARATE ENTITIES. But Disney, by deed and word, seems to think it IS the special district. It is not, and never was. And this is why its legal case is bogus.
