  1. Because vaccines normally take up to ten YEARS before being fully approved. As the COVID vaccines have had barely a year in development, they are still experimental. Hence why their use is only allowed under emergency use authorization. IF there's no longer an emergency, they can no longer be used. If that was to happen, it would seriously cut into the $26 BILLION in revenue Pfizer expects to make this year from its vaccine.
