@Nunogra but the portuguese continued to import and farm slaves up until the end of the 19th century and the portuguese were also the last ones to give its former colonies independance.I am just wondering where you guys spend all the money.As I am typing this the portuguese still own huge pieces of land in cabo verde, Mozambique and Brazil is all yours too. Too many things do not add up

not quite slavery continued well until the late 19th century in Brazil, Brazil is a portuguese land.The PT is also the last nation to emancipate their colonies some as late as 1975.Sao tome and countless of little islands are portuguese properties, you call that "ties" today.what about those Asian nations the portuguese colonised ? Portugal had the lion share of the colonies, it is just a failed imperialist nation.Portugual has been cash strapped for decades.The chinese could pay off you debt.
