I am the product of that " outside of the box" thinking. i don't think i have ever looked down on people who do not want someone from another background but its never ok to disrespect people who do not prefer racial homogeneity . but I get served backward racist comments by a significant number of asians of all backgrounds on a plate. it ranges from mind blowing ignorance to disturbingly racist. I am absolutely stunned, really I am. and the older i get the more i realize even our home grown asians are on a steady diet of eurocentric values blended with old school racial hierarchy from their asian parents.
