  1.  @blindlemon9  Disagree on the second to last sentence. Trump is destroying the hell out of our society, as noted by the rising number of people who think the election will be invalid if their candidate loses, the rising number of people who think violence is justified to achieve political goals, and the increase in white supremacist violence since 2017. And he has a ton of contempt for "Democrat states and cities", which is something like half the electorate.

  3. I'll give you number 1. But abolishing the electoral college leaves us with a straight popular vote election. That's like the exact opposite of authoritarian. And we've been counting votes after election day for years, because there are a lot of them and sometimes things get stuck in the mail system. We did it in 2016 and no one tried to nullify the results. Trump's just making excuses because it looks like he's going to lose.
