  1. They run into roughly 200 corporate Democrats. Much like Trump can't institute a fascist dictatorship by just yelling a lot, AOC and 10 other progressives can't institute a socialist paradise by just yelling a lot. We need numbers if we want to get stuff done. That's how democracy works. And until we get those numbers, there's no reason for progressive Dems to obnoxiously push policies that won't pass. Have patience, my friend.

  2. If I remember correctly from the stories about AOC and Bernie's staff salaries, each Congressperson is allotted a certain amount of money to divvy up among staff however they see fit. I don't know about location costs but I imagine they're paid for in the same way.
