  1. 1:53:01 Its pointless to do that, not difficult, its just wasteful. If you are going to simulate at that level you might as well run it directly on the universe "for free", computationally speaking. Computation simulation is good for abstracting away unneeded details and doing Top-Down simulation/modelling. I don't think we are going to be able to do bottom-up anything from quantum physics, the physicists are just wrong. And the good things about informational capability of quantum physics probably are better implemented "classically" , aka, by just using chemistry/electromagnetism, not by using quantum effects.

There's a whole different way of doing computation with just electromagnetism without going into "digital" that would open up tens of thousands of orders of magnitude of computing power without ever needing to ask for quantum effects to complicate things for no good reason. The entirety of life is probably based on that kind of computation, not on any quantum effects at all.
