"Militarized Federal Agents?" How about calling them what they are: Secret Police.

@MrHandss Names? Badge numbers? The usual means of identifying police traditionally afforded a free people?

@zantig1 If CBP is what they REALLY are, that explains what they're doing in Portland. Two questions: Were the people they snatched without charges illegal immigrants or were they smugglers? If this is "legitimately" a CBP operation they're one or the other. Were they sneaking in from Canada or from Mexico?

@xYouthAttackx & Nota Bene I hear you but KGB seems just as applicable, as well as the secret police of lots of other authoritarian regimes who go by a lot of names in a lot of languages. Whatever the name, it means Secret Police.

@jonathanmuhaluk542 When America still had a Constitution the police weren't allowed to hide their names and badge numbers; they weren't allowed to snatch people off the street without charges and pretend it was an "arrest." You wag the word "commie" around like you have no idea what it means.

Lisa Shetler What we need is police who respect and obey the law.

@Haku Yuki Officers making a legitimate arrest identify themselves (these people didn't) and they state the charges (these people gave no reason for the snatch).

@Haku Yuki They weren't "arresting" the vandals. They were snatching the orderly peaceful demonstrators.

@rustyshackleford3190 The secretive way the arrests were carried out sure shows there was legitimate probable cause lol. That's how legitimate law enforcement works, huh? When you have a legal reason to arrest someone, always conceal the charge. And conceal your name and badge number.

@0IIIIII Police brutality is...not government sanctioned." Well, not overtly. Covertly it's supported, maybe sometimes even ordered. Portland looks like the latter.
