This is the important part of cannabis legalization. Weed is a fun drug but CBD doesn't have any recreational use, it's a medication and needs to be on the market legally, with or without the recreational good stuff. Texas law is basically Baptist so I expect my state will be last or nearly last to legalize recreational marijuana. CBD is now legal here but there aren't enough dispensaries and access is still too restricted.

@andym0rand02 I'm in Austin too and you're right. I wrote CBD when I should have written medical marijuana. I must have been trying to think about two things at once when I typed that. Maybe I was planning to reply to someone else in another thread and got the two threads mixed up in my head - maybe I was stoned lol.

@andym0rand02 I'm a little south of the river and a few blocks east of I-35. Went to college in Seguin (which is nearer to San Marcos than to Austin), then moved here for a job in 1970. Californians often make good transplants to Austin; so do Wisconsinites, Vietnamese, Nigerians and Kenyans. I love the international flavor of this place but not the gentrification. In the 70s William Cannon was a country road, now it's developed; I miss the overgrown-small-town vibe of those years.
