The left cry about environment on that issue, I always ask them when was the last oil pipeline spill you heard about (blank look from them) then I ask how many rail spills in your life have you heard of (the light comes on as they realize many). Oil transport by pipeline is not only safer but FAR less costly reducing fuel prices.

  3. All kinds of Lithium in the McDermitt Crater on the Oregon Nevada border, its the old Yellowstone hotspot before North America shifted. Trouble with the lithium mining is ranchers, Native Americans and environmentalists are united in opposing it, lithium mining and battery disposal are environmental nightmares, yet its supposedly "green", lol. FYI the lithium in the McDermitt Crater and NW of there near Steens Mountain and the uranium as well are relatively close to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, remember the ranchers that took it over upset at federal land grabs in the region, you know the guys the feds and state police killed on their way to meet the Sheriff who was the arbiter of the dispute.
