  3.  @Abe-qu9tl Qatar obviously has the best interest of the people of Maine in mind. Surely they could not live with themselves for exploiting profit out of those innocent Americans. 🤣 And obviously the power grind would not improve if $140M of profit was taken from the private companies and used to upgrade the power grid.

  8. Evergy the company that runs Missouris power grid, is implementing time based rate plans that will increase peoples electric bill, for no other reason but to further exploit us. I really hope that we can follow Maines example and size the power back for the people, literally. Also Maine would benefit greatly from some shiny new nuclear reactors, it’s too long of an investment for most corporations, but an obvious choice for families who have an interest in their children’s future.

  9. That’s definitely not how private for profit companies work, but it stands true if the grid is nationalized and run for the people by the people.
