  1. Chip Act is bully , it is NOT a competition when only one side(U$A) can change rules. Just like your classmate(U$A) use his family power to force the stationary shop(ASML,Japan,..) NOT to sell stationary to you. The anglo saxon hegemony cannot even consider anyone having the ability or determination to be better than them.

  2.  @jeremytine  sponsoring national industries just excuse/small part of Chip Act . The actual political agenda of it is to restrict/ban ASML , Japan, S.Korea ... etc to export semiconductor material , equipments to China . Also force TSMC to setup and share profit to U$A . Deeper is to rob TSMC manufacture IP for Intel. Now Taiwanese call that company ASMC. Whoever(TSMC, Samsung,..) that force to join Chip Act are restrict/ban to expand manufacturing in China. TSMC still waiting to receive those sponsor after spend so much to setup in U$A.
