  1. Plus they'll increase your rates. Years ago, my car was stolen after paying my premiums year after year with no claims. Car was found, no damage at all. Did not cost them one penny, next thing I know, my rates went up. Their excuse was that my car was not in a secure place. Even though I had an alarm installed.
