  1. About 9 years ago I bought an old Minolta twin lens reflex off of ebay for about $100, fully functional but in need of some care. Spent some more money to send it to a guy who restores old Minoltas; he cleaned, lubed, adjusted it, and put a new leatherette skin on it to replace the old crackled one, so it's like I have a bran new 1959 roll film camera, with a super sharp lens and a working light-powered meter. It's been my main camera ever since, been on long trips and hikes to tops of mountains. I can't imagine how much it would sell for now given the prices that guy was quoting in this vid. Looks like I jumped in at the right time.
