  1. Great video, my thumbs up is actually for the cool footage of a Convair 990 in action! My dad worked for an airline in the 70s when the Convair 880 and 990 were still in service and known for their great speed. Now largely forgotten, in their day they were great jetliners and pilots used to "race" each other to see if they could shave seconds off the route times in their speedy Convair jetliners.
