  3. Just something you may find interesting. There is a British film called The Ship Which Died Of Shame (1955) which is about people using a WW2 MTB to run smuggling trips to the continent post war. Back in the late 60s there were two brothers who ran a caravan site on the Norfolk Broads and they owned a WW2 MTB which was kept on Oulton Broad. And, as you've probably guessed, they were using it to smuggle goods from France. They were eventually caught and sent to prison. I knew about this because my parents had a caravan on the site and one day received a letter telling them the site had been closed and they had to move the caravan. Interestingly the fact that they were smugglers suddenly explained a lot, such as how come the small bar was always so well stocked.
