  2. I have come across references to US Navy special forces divers swimming out of a torpedo tube when the submarine was under water. This was usually done by the diver climbing into the tube with his air tanks, the tube it then flooded and then to tube door is opened to let the diver swim out. Once out he would then put his air tanks on.
