  1. All this equipment came in handy not only with the Vietnamese attack on Cambodia but also China's attack in support of the Cambodian's. Vietnam managed to drive back the Chinese while still fighting in Cambodia. Oddly enough one of the problems the Chinese faced in Vietnam was the fact that no one in the Chinese military wore rank insignias as all good communists were said to be equal. This resulted in incidents were orders were being ignored because that persons giving the orders was unknown to those receiving the orders.
