  1. Back in the early 60s the West was shocked to see the first Tupolev TU-22. The supersonic bomber. Turns out the biggest threat was to the crew as of the 311 they built 70 of the crashed. On the up side the air conditioning ran on what was effectively vodka.

  3.  @hughgordon6435  Sounds about right. I did come across something on YouTube about there being a special pipeline which runs from a nearby port which is supposed to supply they fuel for a hypersonic aircraft. I think it's hypersonic.

  5. I do find it odd that we have the technology for stealth and hiding infrared signals but they don't.

  6. I have to say I can solve all of those by simply telling you that all these phenomena are down to my playing Destroy All Humans. In the UK in the past one of the areas often sited for these phenomena was a place called Warminster. Warminster just happened to be near the Royal Aircraft Establishment where top secret research into aircraft was carried out. Another popular spot was in East Anglia. Were the USAF had bases. They, I believe, flew U-2 and SR-71 aircraft from there. Interestingly one area for which these phenomena have now been spotted is off North West Scotland and are thought to be what is known as the SR-72.
